Remo Grassetti

For over 30 years he has been among the international personalities with more professional experience in personal Defence and in methods of military combat and interposition.
Having practiced in the field and studied various military systems, also using the collaboration of British, French, Japanese, German, Russian, Vietnamese, Israeli and American masters, he created, elaborated and coded the Method of Prevention and Management of Critical Situations and Self Defence MAS – Moving Action Surprise System©.
Over the years, he has been training the personnel of various Italian Armed Forces commands, including some Special Forces. Within the Police Forces, he has been training Departmental and Local Police forces, Fire Brigades and inter-staff of various departments. In the civil sector, he has been training the staff of many local authorities, associations and groups against violence towards women, for anti-bullying and for educators working with people with mental illnesses. Remo Grassetti has been training the staff of transport companies, large enterprises, and private security companies, as well as bodyguards and close protection officers.
Remo Grassetti boasts a forty-year experience in Karate and other martial arts. As a Shotokan karate athlete, he was a member of the Italian national team, participating at many competitions all over the world and becoming European vice-champion in 1990. As a trainer, he brought the Italian national team to the second place at the world championship in 1994. 7th Dan Shotokan master, he was a member of the National Technical Commission of the KWF (Karatenomichi World Federation) of the famous sensei Mikio Yahara. In the past, he held the position of national coordinator of the FESIK Personal Defence sector (Karate Educational Sporting Federation). He is currently federal adviser of FIAM (Italian Martial Arts Federation).
Aldo Pigoli

Adjunct Professor at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan and member of the Faculty of ASERI – High School of Education in International Economics and Relations, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
He is involved in education and training in the field of International Relations, Security and Negotiation, both in academia, in public institutions and in the private sector.
Since 2009, he has been working on Executive Education projects and training for the staff of public and private institutions, large companies and SMEs.
A consultant and lecturer for the European Commission, NATO, the Italian Senate, the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Interior and for the Chamber of Commerce of Milan.
In the field of Geopolitics, Defence and Security he was a military researcher and research director at the Military Center for Strategic Studies (Ce.Mi.SS) and is now a lecturer at the Center for Post-Conflict Operation Studies – Army Command Training and Application School, in Turin and at the Training School of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, in Rome. In the past, he taught at the Police Enforcement School, in Rome.
He is listed among the experts accredited by Eupolis Lombardia, the Institute for Research, Statistics and Training of Lombardy Region and among the trainers of the Consortium of the Municipalities of Trentino Region.
He is the author of many scientific and dissemination publications on the topic of Security and Geopolitics, and is a commentator for various radio and television media, printed papers and web portals, in Italy and abroad.
He has practiced various martial arts and Self Defence methods. 3rd Dan black belt and Shotokan Karate instructor, he was a member of the Italian Kumite national team from 1992 to 2002.

In the civil sector, he has trained the personnel and staff of various local authorities, associations and groups in the field of countering violence against women and anti-bullying and in training educators working with people with mental illnesses. Remo Grassetti has also held courses and training activities reserved for personnel and staff of transport companies, large enterprises and security personnel, body-guards and close protection officers.

The MAS Method Instructor is a professional figure with skills and capabilities in the prevention and management of critical situations and Self Defence.
The training course to qualify as “Instructor” is highly selective, with more than 100 hours of theoretical and practical activities as well as a final exam.

Training programs for our instructors are a key factor. We aim to achieve high standards in a process of constant evolution, drawing on internal resources and on experts and teachers with national and international experience and skills.
In addition to the technical aspects and the theoretical skills, a significant part of the training is geared to the development of adequate communicative and relational skills that we believe are fundamental elements in the relationship with practitioners and with professionals in the public and the private sector.
Training programs for our instructors are a key factor. We aim to achieve high standards in a process of constant evolution, drawing on internal resources and on experts and teachers with national and international experience and skills.
